The hotel rooms were immaculately clean and well presented, although the reception service was a bit lackluster during my stay. The location was ideal for visiting family and accessing Ipswich Town Centre easily, despite some untidy areas around the floor. The dining experience was superb, especially the meals served in the adjacent pub. Overall, a value-for-money option with some room for improvement in service.

The hotel location was perfect for our family visit, behind a nice pub with easy access to Ipswich Town Centre if needed. The rooms were a bit hot at night even in October, but opening the window helped with some fresh air, although the view was of the carpark. The hotel rooms were up to a normal standard - clean and tidy, with the added bonus of having a fan in the room. However, the adjoining bar/restaurant lacked friendly and accommodating staff, seemed short-staffed, and was not cleaned properly.
